METAL GEAR SOLID 4

Yup, as a fan from this game, i absolutely need to make a review of this game.
To make it short, the conclusion of this game based on point is :

- For those who absolutely dont know what the heck MGS is : 9/10
- For those who slightly know what is MGS : 10/10
- For those who is MGS fans : You have to play this game before you die

Seriously , its that good, its MASTERPIECE by the game itself. This is the first game that i know, which make the quality of the story line richer each time the sequel released, make the game clearer and better. It is not like Final fantasy 7, which make the story more lame and over rated, each sequel explain and make the story more complex.

Spoiler : Do you know the DARPA CHIEF in MGS 1 is actualy SIGINT in MGS3 ? yeah, i dunno also, until i play MGS4

After play it for a little while, i also know why all mgs fan said that mgs cannot be adapted into live action movie, like what tekken and street fighter has been through, because the mgs itself is already a holiwood movie ! Each scene is really cinematic and make you feels like you watching a movie instead of playing it. All the details, emotion and tense are already there.

Some Spoiler : in the middle of game, you will have a chasing game, where you have to escape from soldiers who pursuing you using motor bike. If you do nothing and not shooting the soldiers, the way camera following you is like holiwood scene, complete with its slow mo actions and cinematic scenes. One of the best part for me in this game.

The game itself is really the closing curtain of MGS series. In this game, you will see and play MGS 1, MGS 2, MGS 3 , literally, with off course, MGS 4 story inside it. It really make you feels nostalgic, and for the fans, this is one of the best elements that you could find in the game. It feels like you play the entire MGS series in one game, man , the game itself contain 50 giga bytes COMPRESSED data. Yeah, ps3 need to uncompress it first before you play,so technically it is a game with 60-70 gigabytes data. The heaviest game i ever play.

I havent play it through until the end, but from this point , i could say that this game is absolutely master piece. All hail to HIDEO KOJIMA !!! Just like what gamespot.com said, "This game is technically flawless, the master piece "

What Im Doing These Days

Ok, its been a month since my last post, and i just want to post some of my works here.
Most of my works are products labeling and voucher cards.
This is the catalog for last year products, i havent made for the new one. Heck, i just post it here.

Destiny

Im start to thinking of fate, destiny , of that kind of things. Because right now im talking about my future, where i should choose where i will land my feet. I have studied as a graphic designer for 4 freaking years in Limkokwing, because im interested in design, but right now, my inner entrepreneurship self is calling. I really want to have my own business.

Unconsciously, i like to hear people story. About their heart, their experience, specially lesson that they gave to me, but i like it the most when they talk about business plan and tactics. I really learn a lot these two weeks from my cousin and my boss. They teach me bit by bit how to manage market and do business thing. Im really interested in that, specially how i could multiply my money by doing so :)

In these two weeks, i try to relax my mind and thinking about my new plan, but it is disturbed by my endless free lance jobs.. I really need a holiday. But in the same time, i got new booster to do my job right now as for collecting my base money for my business plan. I hope GOD really put me in the right track, and give me the best.

See that curve before my little finger? Normal people wont have that if you open your hand. And what it is you ask ? I think its part of guard like you have in your knee, but for this one, its not moving in as your finger did, this one STAYS there and not moving. So either my little finger dislocated from its original place, or the guard is.

Right now i even can not draw properly .. well, the 'doctor' said i have to fix it myself everynight by applying little massage on that part.

Lost

This is my first post typed in my iPad..only to see that my blog is not -ipad friendly..
I don't usually write in iPad,I just want to kill some time while im waiting for almost 4 freaking hours for Air Asia flight to come..it is supposed to be fly at 9.40,but it is delayed until 11.10 and still delaying..

This is maybe my first post which im talking nonsense to kill sometime..so, I want to share with you guys what is inside my head right now..well,kinda

There are a lot of thoughts in my head,in which i cannot tell you most of them..but mostly is about my future. There also a lot of emotions that have came across me these days..sad,regret,missing something,and so on..and this delayed is making it worse -_- i keep thinking about it

I decide to back to my hometown before i embark and start my new page of life where i will fully become an adult,that have to earn money by myself. I have to calm myself and meet my spiritual need first,and in the other hand,my right arm is broken,even i cannot open door handle properly now. I try to draw and make a design for my client, Anata,but somehow my design is like downgraded to semester 4 student. I spent this one week doing absolutely nothing..just meet my housemate,doing random stuff,eat, and sleep. My mind somewhat is somewhere else,and what I need is waiting for it to comeback

The truth is,i want try to work overseas,seeing world from the other side. But as time pass through,the desire that i have is vanishing. There are a lot of problems mentally and psychically waiting,and im not sure if i can fight against it in this condition. What i want is close to my family and friends first back in Indonesia..because somehow i feel lonely and useless if im stay in Malaysia. Somehow i feel jealous with my housemate that full sanguine. He is confident,a lazy person ,and live easily. He is not thiking to hard about is live,and only go with the flow in his life. Meanwhile im who us mostly a melancholic right now,can't help it but always thinking about it.

For me the future that i sees clear last year become a blur image that i cannot see. I don't know what ahead me anymore.

But in other hand, i see the positive affect from this situation. These days, i start to read my dusty and old bible again. I pray longer than i ever did,and really seek for His guidance. Its not that i try to become a naive person,but i feel lost and need someone's guidance. And i hope and believe that HE will show the HIs way and guide me to the best way

My University Life is "Almost" Over

All of my works are done by now, and my university life is almost over. Gee, in my memories, its like yesterday when i came to malaysia and come to my room in Desaria, My mom told me ' Clean your room everyday ! ' with her eyes sparkling holding her tears. Thats the start line where i start my university life.

And now, like a blink of the eye, im in the finish line, just waiting for the graduation ceremony and bachelor certificate. To be honest, im kinda lost now. When you go from your junior high school, you know that you will continue your studies to senior high school , and from senior high school to university. But now, i dont know where i have to go.

My inner self tell me to rest a bit, to go home to my home town, close to my family first. There a lot of projects already waiting for me in my home town actually. lol

But in my university life, i got a lot of lessons and experience. Pain, cheers, fun , tears that i got , really become colors into my canvas.

SPARKS, you really give me a lot of things, and let the memories of us rest in our heart and lets meet again next time as leaders and successful person :)

And there is some sad story for me.. my flash data is corrupt. I just know that , never replace your old flash data with the new one too quick, or the data will corrupt, like me. Then my 2 hours worth of work gone. Damn, so pissed off right now, moreover, i haven't really do anything with my works today.

And there also some story about my creative exchange competition that held by limkokwing. My competitor, who currently is number one, has ridiculously high vote. He got 281 votes now, where the nearest competitior, who is me, only about 140 votes. The thing is, the works itself not reflecting the work that he did. Who voting for him are all of his friends. Yeah, some creative exchange all right, even the admin is so pissed off with the works, so he provide another prize for the real WINNER

This is out at begining of this year.
Its nice, and sure they put a lot of effort to make a stop motion ON T Shirt. At first, i think its waste of time and only for fun. But now, because of this video, they have oppurtinies to have a collaboration with Coke and MC Donald !
They are asked to make a commercial based on their concept !
And so , they make this :



Its nice and neat like their music video concept. Then i watch this ( and you should too ) after seeing those video.



Its really inspire me. How people could get oppurtinies because their hardwork and passion to make something good. They have a special and unique characteristics or elements that other people does not have, so people are attracted to them. They also share their oppurtunies with other youtubers, if you watch the behind the scene part. Its neat. I like how they work , their concept, their video, and their attitude. Its really inspires me :)

My.. Third Website..

Yeah.. you read it right my THIRD website.. only GOD knows why i have to make so many website.. lol. This one is for my minor, intro to web design. But as submission, i couldnt attach any javascript on it. only pure html and css. But as for my personal keepers, i attach one and two fancy html animation and effect.

There still some bugs tho, the most noticeable one is the preload- rollover button. The tinyscroll javascript forbid me to use the preload on the body.. so.. yeah, i have to attach it manually on css. lol,i think i'll fix it latter.



Btw, i read my old comic books again , digitally this time. I read Kung fu boy manga. You who has their childhood in 1990 should know this comic. KUNG FU PEREMUK TULAAAAAAAAAAANG !!! Boy, i always want to have that move . lol

some rationale here, it is photo based campaign poster that i created together with Jane Haezer Saputra.. my girl friend in short.. hahaha. We choose Sony Erickson Walkman for our client. We use an object that resembles human face with its expression to reflect the love of music, which is referring to Sony Walkman. The message is "Everybody loves music", but we change 'We' to 'I' , since the headset is usually used only for 1 person.

He straightly asking me when im ready to work.. but then i said , i need time to think about it first. the truth is, the offer is interesting, but in the same time, i want to apply to many companies first, and choose the best..

Walk in Interview

This story begin when im still sleeping at 9 am, there is one girl ,who said that i got invitation to have walk in interview at 'CCC'. Me who just woke up because of that phone ring, who just got some fever and cold last night, answer it unconsciously.

After the conversation done, i just realize that i have a interview at Thursday 2pm, and still have a blur information about what 'CCC' is. It happens that it is a website studio that open under Limkokwing. It is acronym of 'Center of Content Creation'

so today i have an interview with them. Im really honored and happy to be suddenly invited to have walk in interview like this :). Gladly, i preparing everything yesterday ,and before that ( make the website from December, preparing the name card , CV and resume on January, and stock photo that i brought from Indonesia). Luckily, i have some feeling that i have to burn my portfolio inside a CD, and they ask for it. The only thing that i havent prepared is the CD label.

From the interview, i just notice that we ( overseas student in Malaysia) only could get a working permit after we reached 25 years old (as an IT and designer ). And once the working permit is rejected, we wont get one anymore. damn, it is so intimidating.
Overall, the interview is progress smoothly, and i see the office is fine, except that everything is decorated in BLACK (from their attire up into the desk and the wall ). And they will inform me back in one week, after they discuss with their boss.

But personally, i would like to apply to more agencies latter. Even they ask me, wether i want to apply to other companies, and I say yes. I would like to seek for options and choose the best one.

Well, this experience is sure exiting , its not everyday you woke up in 9 am and you are invited to have a walk in interview tho :)

Speaking about x box.. right now im playing PES 2010 with my friends.. and im playing a tournament now.. somehow, the system on the computer prevent me to score the goal -_-.. I have more than 5 chance to score the goal that time.. and what i means by chance.. is the keeper is deserted somewhere, and the ball is only half meter away from the goal.. but somewow i cannot shoot it .. there are always stupid mistakes happening.. aarghhhhh.. and now im resuming my tournament.. wish me luck !!

Music Video part-2

yeah.. this is my music video development part 2 in this blog..hahahahahah, feels like to post something today , so here it is.



this is the photo that become of crucial part of my music video.. hahahahah

btw , I watch iron man 2 today.. its good.. but not as good as it should be for me.. the story arrangement seems strange to me. The movie could be better if we just arrange the scene a little bit.. by putting 'that' scene on the back , and add 'this' to 'that'.. hahahaha ,dont want to ruin you by the spoiler, so i just could use a sign here..basically the story line is seems messed up to me.

The climax also not really breath taking. It's looks more to plain story line to me. The only worth- watch from this movie is Robert Downey, new Iron man suits, the portable suits, and the war machine.. thats all.. hahahaha 7.5/10 from me guys..

I think sequel always not as good as the first movie for this kind of movie.. but i kinda waiting for Sherlock Holmes 2nd movie though.. hahahahahha

CSS Bastard

yeah.. like i said.. CSS bastard.. It is so complicated and somehow it has its own rules..
These are prototypes for interactive website that my group made for our final semester exhibition.

Both of them actually working fine, but there is a footer problem for both of the websites.

The footer at the first link has capability to follow the screen resolution size, so the footer will follow the windows when it become smaller or bigger, but when it is too small, the image order will be become very messy, just try by press "Ctrl , +" to zoom and "Ctrl , -" to zoom out.

While the other one has static footer, where each monitor could see it just fine. But when the resolution is to big, the black color will come out and fill the gap bellow the footer.

And to make this two layout in CSS and HTMl, i have spent nearly 4 hours and still feel disappointed with its result.. so , damn you CSS.. you could make my life shorter if i have to work like this everyday.

At last.. everything is went online..

Yeaaaah.. after one year in development, 4 months in the making.. My Website is went online!!! That is sure one long journey tho.. but sure its worthed..
